Trick wrist pins are manufactured to have tapered or straight walls designed to withstand the pounding of today’s high performance race engines.
All OD surfaces are centerless ground and micro finished to a Ra of 3 or less.
Titanium wrist pins are coated with DLC (Diamond Like Coating) coating. Not all DLC coatings are the same. DLC coatings consist of a vapor deposition of carbon, diamond, and silicon. Trick’s DLC is only 80 millionths thick, but extremely hard with high lubricity, an outstanding coating for wrist pins.
